HOME DECO-MAKING PRIVATE SPACES

MAKING PRIVATE SPACES

Making a private space doesn’t mean to add a room to your home or apartment! You can make a private space in any room but the bedroom or bathroom can be the best areas.

Here’s my tip for the handicapped who may have arthritis and need to soak often to relieve pain. Why not make the best of the bath experience and make this room  your private space for relaxing, too?

MAKE A PRIVATE SPACE IN A CORNER OF A ROOM

Make a corner into a nook of your special things. Having a good view near a window is ideal. The corner can hold a chair, small table and lamp. If you don’t have a garden you can order flowers.

On the wall above, a small shelf with  pictures of your loved ones, figurines, or special things could be placed. A few good books for reading or meditation, such as the Bible or relaxing pictorial books, could be on the small table or a shelf on the table.

Make sure you leave room for a cup of tea or coffee! Here you can retreat at a time of day that you need to relax. In just a few short minutes you will have the refreshment of body and mind.

This need not be expensive but has to be your things in a quiet surroundings. A bedroom corner is ideal as the door can be closed to the outside world and you can retreat to your thoughts and relax.

A small foot stool in front of the chair, a soft, knitted throw, and a neck roll pillow are additional comforts. You can get herbal neck rolls that can be warmed in the microwave and put behind your head as you close your eyes to rest.

Oh! Don’t forget to get your warm pet and to turn off your cell phone!
