IT’S SPRING!

IT’S SPRING!

The furkids decided that it is time to go out to their playpen and bask in the sun. After helping us in the garden (they like to eat the crab grass), they take a nice snooze under the maple tree.

We keep asking them to help but they say that they’ve no thumbs....

This is the time of year when many garden chemicals are used on the lawns and plants. To be on the safe side with children and pets, we recommend children-pet safe products for all of the lawn and gardens.

These products are available from the merchant below, are corn-based, or contain other natural products, and safe (please follow the directions).  They really work and keep the environment healthy as well.

We use them and recommend them highly!

REMEMBER-

KEEP ALL CHEMICALS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS!

“April showers brings May flowers”, as the saying goes, so Corky and Ginny are ready for the weather!

What do the birds do with the corgis in the spring? The corgis shed their winter coats making much fur for Mom to brush out. Mom puts the fur in the grass and flower beds. The birds come and collect it for their spring nests! It is delightful to watch all the birds come and get their beaks full of fur and fly back to their new nests. By the next day all of the fur is gone!

The corgis lie in the grass outside  and watch the birds quietly, as trained. Corky loves to watch them the most.

We have the softest bird nests in the neighborhood!
